5 SIMPLE STEPS | FOR YOUR SHARPEST VALENTINE’S DATE NIGHT OUTFIT YET

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. And while you’re probably still racking your brain over which restaurant she’ll like best or which florist to go to, don’t forget that good style and grooming matter too. It’s all about the details, so here’s our Valentine’s Day date checklist to ensure you’re looking your absolute best.

Step 1: Plan Your Night

After you’ve made your reservations and picked up a sweet gift you know she’ll love, be sure to show up on time. Our Elite Renard watch should help to keep you on schedule.

Step 2: Lather + Spritz

Make sure you are smelling and looking fresh. Lather up with a rugged soap like our Bro Brick, moisturize your face for a healthy youthful glow, and finish off with a scent she’ll never forget, like our favourite, Black Tea by Murdock London.

Step 3: Update Your Underwear

Even if your keeping the date PG, one important factor in feeling overall put together, is knowing that you are wearing the best under garments. The super soft Jack White pima cotton hipster briefs by Derek Rose should keep you covered.

Step 4: Button Up

Wear a buttoned up shirt to take your outfit up a notch. A neutral is always classic, or make it interesting with a graphic print or stripe.

Step 5: Blaze it Up

Elevate your dark jeans or trousers with a proper sport coat for your evening out. Get your lady to notice the effort you put into pulling it altogether to make it a special night – don’t show up looking like your ready to down some beers at the hockey game.

Step 6: Accessorize

Remember the rule of three? Your pants and top are your first and second pieces, and your third piece is an extra outfit element such as a jacket, blazer, sweater, vest or statement accessory. Shoes are not included — those should always be on point. For a blazer, a wrist watch or tie clip is an exceptional way to stand out from the crowd. For pro level – a pocket square or lapel pin, and a hat.

Go get ’em tiger.
